What kind of franchise would you start in St. Mary's County?

The perfect business for St. Mary's County would be a bar that didn't sell beer or booze, but what people here really want when they go out drinking -- Filtered Tap Water!!

The guy who figures that out will get rich, especially if his son is a famous rap star.

I thought of posting that.

How about this...I may have posted this isea a long time ago.....

I did some research on something called a wine bar. NO hard liquor or pool tables and you limit the beer to imports and specialty brews. The menu could consist of gourmet hors d'oeuvre's and light fare. Other possibiblites would be to allow patrons to bring their own wines orto have a cheese shop and store where you could buy bottles of the wines served at the bar.
For entertainment, there could be pianist, acoustic group, or theme parties like a mock Roman wedding.

I even thought of a name... Dionysus, after the Greek god of wine.

I have considered Bacchus, but to have a business become associated with Bacchanalia would be too risque'. ( For those who don't know, Bacchanalia is the term used to describe all-female orgies in ancient Romeand particular parties on college campus') :blushing:

Coldstone

I was seriously going to try to open a coldstone, and they told me one was already coming down here. (I assume now that they mean the one in Waldorf.)

How about something DIFFERENT for once? Something they don't have in Prince Frederick/Waldorf?

I can't for the life of me think of the name of the place. But it's a store that you go to and premake meals to put in your freezer at home. The store supplies all the food, recipes and containers. You just follow thru the stations add the ingredients to your containers take the meals home and then freeze them.

I think you come out of there with 10 premade meals that feed a family of 4.

That sounds intresting. Where at?
