i found alot out on the internet yesterday, but then again affordability varies from person to person; do these prices even exist anymore??

Yep. Bought mine back in August for 180K. More than what I wanted to spend, but I'm not b****ing too much.

Boom stopped though sellers are stuggling to understand that. Stuff that used to be gone in a few weeks, has been on the market for 6 months.

Originally, I bid on a house that had been on the market for several months. Re-tracted my bid when I bid on the one I bought. The first time, I bid 20K under what they were asking and they said they'd never go that low. Guess what it sold for a few months later? Exactly what I bid it at.

i think it is funny because i had that same problem. i would bid a bit under their price and they would basically spit in my face and say no way... i ended up getting my house for 240 in leonardtown, and the three houses i previously bid on are still up for sale, (7 months later) but now their price is lowered to what i had originally offered them, so look whos laughing now

seen a couple on there that had been on the market almost a year ; don't know if it was because of pricing or something with the house/neighborhood

They lost money by being greedy. Could've gotten the money they're now asking for, and wouldn't have several months worth of "waiting costs" to eat.

My hairdresser told me that her realtor told her that they are putting an Olive Garden in on the corner of 235 and Old Rolling Road on the corner in front of K-Mart, next to the jewelry store, but I don't know if that's true.

the olive garden by kmart is in the works....kmart was complaining that it would take away from their parking, so they have to negotiate that.
