What the hell is wrong with people???

Guy writes to Dear Abby because his male friend is showing his 15 year old daughter inappropriate attention, including sneaking into their house and installing a satellite box with porn channels programmed into it.

So they uninstalled the box and gave it back to the guy. Now he's worried that he's overreacting.

:speechless:

What is wrong with people??? Is it all these years of being told, "If someone tries to rob you, give them what they want and don't resist"? Is it that "I'm Okay, You're Okay" bullshit they tried to feed us in the 70s?

I feel like, as a society, we've been collectively brainwashed by the Commies. People don't have a sense of "right and wrong" anymore - they capitulate, then worry that they're "overreacting". :duh:

Here's this friggin' guy in Atlanta - kills three or four people, injures several more, carjacks a few folks, then, for an encore, takes a hostage. But, hey! At least he didn't have to be embarrassed by wearing restraints in court! :jet:

I do not understand this, I truly don't.

I don't understand why he didn't bash the guy over the head with the box!

And writing Dear Abby....this dad is messed up.

UFB :twitch: That Dad is a dumbass. You can bet that if some guy was trying that crap with my kid, he would be eating that cable box. I have no problem with overreacting when it comes to the safety of my child.

I think this guy (the "friend") needs to become aquainted with the pointy end of a .30-06 180gr. round at approximately 2500 Ft. Per Second.

I can think of a better place where I'd would put the box...then we might have case for "overreacting". :burning:

Yet another instance of why some folks shouldn't be allowed to procreate.

Seriously, though, I think it's not the commies that did the brainwashing. It's the bleeding heart Lib - uh, idiots that have been permitted by the Supreme Court to misuse Constitutional rights and poison society.

That's what killed me about this the most - he needs to have Dear Abby tell him what to do when his buddy gives his 15 year old daughter porn????

It's like these idiots that call Dr. Laura. I'm like, you needed to call Dr. Laura about that????

Umm...well, when he cut the girl's hair, that should have been a clue that the guy was really nuts. Any typical dad would have beat the hell out of his friend.

Did anybody read the 2nd letter to Abby? Someone's daughter gets bruises on the playground -- what on earth is going on at elem. schools today?!

:yikes: Kids are running around and getting bruises at recess? She didn't say the last bruise was from the bully.
My daughter once got a bruise from a backyard trampoline and I had to be intervied by social services (in my home) because of it. If the social worker hadn't been hot, I'd have been pizzed.

This "daddy" is a piece of crap. He would be doing the same thing Kevin is doing if the situation was reversed otherwise kevin would be in jail or very seriously injured. Some place in his screwed up brain, he condones this stuff. If my closest relative that so happens to be also my best friend, would have just looked at my daughter wrong, I would have pulled him aside and made it super clear what would happen if it continued. Friendship doesn't rank ahead of your daughter.

:lmao:

I'm thinking, contact the police first. Then after the police interview him, wait in the dark dressed in black with a baseball bat and start with a knee cap and a warning. Then some therapy for my daughters. Both of them. Even though the 15 year old was directly affected, sisters talk.

Back in the '60s, a kid threw a rock at me on the elementary school playground and I went to the hospital bleeding profusely from the resultant cut. (Ruined a really nice suede jacket, too). Bruises are nothing, IMHO - and certainly nothing new.

Bruises are nothing physically, but they'll hurt the kid emotionally and they'll be damaged for life. Aren't you still hurting inside from that childhood incident? I wouldn't be suprised if after years of therapy and psych meds, you still aren't over it. Poor Railroad :frown:

(yes, its a joke  )
