Ive noticed it real hit or miss on people at their kids baseball/softball games right now also, because we play at Chancellors Run, we see alot of the other leagues around, and Ive noticed there hasnt been alot of parents there, like a small handfull...

Thats good that yall are involoved with your kids in sports, whether you know it or not, it does make a big difference

I've seen parents drop off their kids at the tball practices and not come back until it's done. That bugs me to no end. I can sort of understand this at a later age, but tball? they're 5 and 6, give me a break. Guess it kills some parents to have to sit there for a whole hour and either help with the practices or just sit there and watch their kids running the bases backwards.

First game is tonight for tball. I'm so excited! I laugh the whole practice, I know I'm going to be all smiles the whole game

They drive away? I can't imagine that. What if the child were to get hurt? At soccer the parents may sit in the car but they're told they leave and the kid gets hurt we can't do anything without their permission.

Had a 12 year old that was always dropped off - she broke her wrist during a bad fall - couldn't get the parents on any of the contact numbers. Poor kid had to suffer with just ice packs until they moseyed back to pick her up. Then they DARED yell at the coach for not doing anything.

People are such asses. Not only if they get hurt. But if they disobey the coach or do something really good, I want to be able to be there for punishment reasons or for praise afterwards. Plus it gives you one more thing you can talk about with the kids.

they're not bad. Just boys. Boys that get fired up when certain uncles and other players felt the need to throw them up in the air and play fight with them and then leave them with mommy to go off and play their games. :burning:

Youngest son has his firt Tball game tonight. Hope the coach found a pice of chainlink to drag the field at the Golden Beach firehouse. Another team played a game or practiced last week when it was all muddy and relly effed it up. If it hasn't been dragged, it won't be safe for the kids to play. We are talking major ruts and mounds all over the infield.
