Whats for dinner?

This soup has been a prominent meal in our family for a VERY long time, so we eat it frequently. It is delicious!

I want to try that soup but will leave the boiled egg out. The recipe Bann shared reads 10 ears of corn. Would one bag frozen corn be enough?

Last night the pastry won out. Thinking of putting something in the crock pot today. Have to think on it for a bit.

Good timing. I finally get a few days off later this week and the temps are warming up. Grill time. Hopefully my son will have some success fishing and put that on the grill. Until then, what ever is on hand and quick.

If you go here:
Cookware, Bakeware, Cutlery, Recipes and Recipe ideas - Cooking.com at Cooking.com
and sign up for their newsletter, every day they will email you a recipe. Usually they're pretty good - I think yesterday's was a Sicilian meatball soup. Very rarely do I have the ingredients to make their recipe that night, but many times I've said, "Oh wow, that looks good" and saved it back to spring on dinner guests.

I already belong, joined long ago but thanks. I like them, Live Better America and my favorite is still Mr. Food.

It will be leftovers for me tonight. Kale, ham, onion and rice concoction I made yesterday in the crock pot. It was very tasty.

That sounds good!
They are super yummy. I always do some sort of chicken in the crock every week and eat it for lunch and dinner. Next week I'm going to try apple bourbon chicken. Combined with a half sweet potato and/or broccoli, it is a fantastic, healthy meal.
