Something I just learned about A Christmas Story, the bullies name wasn't Scott, it was Scut. Who the hell is named Scut?

Decided to work my way through a Christmas movie or two today since the weather is so perfect for it.

So I found out something interesting. Do you know the Christmas song - I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day? Well there's a movie on ROKU by that title and I decided to give it a shot. It's got a Hallmark feel to it maybe a little sappy BUT the song itself, although not attributed to Longfellow, contains the lyrics of the poem I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day by Longfellow.

It was written on Christmas Day 1863 or 1864 during the Civil War which makes some of the lyrics make sense now.

And in despair I bowed my head
"There is no peace on Earth, " I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on Earth, good will to men

But the bells are ringing (peace on Earth)
Like a choir singing (peace on Earth)
Does anybody hear them? (Peace on Earth)
Peace on Earth, good will to men

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
(Peace on Earth)
(Peace on Earth)
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on Earth, good will to men

Anyhow. I thought it was interesting.
