Well, I really enjoyed checking out the fancy-dancy diggs that Northern VA people have - Wegmans!

Safeway, Whole Foods and especially Harris Teeter are excellente! :yay:

BJ's for bulk... Giant cause it's local and clean/fresh...

^Those would be the gooduns.

I usually only venture into McKays anymore because it is close and I like to like to write my name in the dust on the shelves... And, see if they've come up with a new way to eff up my groceries in their unique bagging style. :yay:

I really miss Mattinglys...now I mainly shop at Giant in California(always CLEAN) and make trips every other week to Nicks of Clinton in Waldorf. The Food Lion in Callaway is the only one I will set foot in, the one in Charlotte Hall is FILTHY and the employees are rude and talk like sailors and same with the one in Leonardtown. I live in Mechanicsville and we really need more choices here!

On occasion I'll shop at McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's and Arby's.

...I miss Mattingly's too.

Grocery stores suck.
But I will always have fond memories of A&P/Superfresh.
When you first walked in, you were hit by the smell of

fresh ground coffee beans. :coffee: :drool:
