What's your favorite grocery store??

I go to BJ's first because they usually have what I need without a lot of fru-fru crap to weed through.

Imagine my disappointment when I found out what BJ's does not sell.

My least favorite is Mckays in Great Mills, the next least favorite is food lion.

Yes, but we usually buy vegatables/meat there. very fresh, veggies last for 2 weeks, and buy what is on sale. Have bought bad meat a couple times from Mckays, and Shoppers.

For boxed/canned stuff, shoppers does fine for us.

I WILL NOT buy any "fresh" food from McCays in Wildewood. Their deli has flies all over the place. The final time I went there I had to cancel my order because a fly landed on my meat WHILE she was cutting it.

I won't go in there at all anymore, the last time I did the whole place smelled terrible. Like severely rotten fruit. The Great Mills Mckays has been pretty decent, though.

We do most of our shopping at Food Lion. I like the new one, the aisles are nice and wide. When we want shrimp and crap legs we go to woodburns.

I don't like giant. It may all be in my head, but I've always heard they are more expensive.

Believe it or not but Target and Walmart are very cheap for pantry staples

Totinos Pizzas are always on sale at Food Lion, 10 for $10. Nuff said. That's like three weeks of eats if you don't use them up for breakfast.

Grocery stores suck.
But I will always have fond memories of A&P/Superfresh.
When you first walked in, you were hit by the smell of fresh ground coffee beans.

Yeah Food Fair, Penn Fruit and Acme were the same way!

The Commissary is the supermarket located on Naval Air Station Patuxent River military base.

I like Giant, BJ's and Shoppers...

I also use the base Commissary, nothing special about it though...

Giant is worth the extra $$$ to me for the cleanliness of the store and the selection of products. I do shop a lot at BJ's for the bulk items: dog and cat food, toilet paper, etc.

I wish there was a Trader Joe's or Fresh Fields closer to me than Annapolis.

I always shop at Food lion (I live in Charles County) Once in a while I shop at Safeway but I can't believe how much more they charge. Our Foodlion has been remodeled and they are pretty nice now.

Outback, Ledo's, Olive Garden, Red Hot & Blue, BWB, Hooters, Bennigans.

On occasion I'll shop at McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's and Arby's.

...I miss Mattingly's too.
