Where can you buy those things anyway?

I have no clue. I don't have kids, but I have seen them some of the kids at Trader Joe's whipping around the corners. One kid had her leg in a leg brace and she was flying around the corners on them. I would fall and break my neck.

Once you know how to properly do a wheelie you can do them for very long distances. Then it turns into an endurance thing. A long wheely puts a lot of stain on your forarms.

I will admit that there are a lot of throttle jockys out there. If you really know what your are doing. It isn't that dangerous to do a wheely on 235. I can change lanes, speed up, and slow down all while maintaining a good wheelie.

Got a hitch on the back of my Expedition thats got your bike written all over it. Bring it on! Keep the stupidity on your own private property or the race track. You may know what you are doing but the idiot that doesn't know that is watching may get freaked out and hurt you or hurt themselves watching your antics. The idiots on the beltway are even worse. I only hope that their deaths are painful when they meet that object that stops them dead.

BTW, I used to ride as well. KZ-900, KZ-1000, Kawasaki H-3, 2-FJ1200's.

I used to be into the high speed thing. Driving down 4 doing about 140 to 150. We used to joke around and call it duck and pray.

I have switched from speeding to stunting. I find doing trix to be a lot more fun and chalenging. I do most of my practicing in empty parking lots.

Give you credit for trying to do it smart! :yay:

Wheelies are pretty old stuff, what got my attention the first time was a guy coming to a stop next to me with his rear tire way up in the air! Turned out to be a neighbor too.

Nope, but I'm holding out hope, that one day, I'll get to see one lay it down.

I saw a guy lay his bike down while doing a wheelie. T'wasn't pretty.
It happened at a wedding and he was in a rented tux.
It ripped his pants clean off of him. And he broke his leg too.

We also saw a guy on Saturday doing a wheelie from the 4/235 light.
He went a loooooong way, and it looked pretty cool.

Damn, that guy was lucky. He has wedding pictures that he'll actually want to look at.

Back in my day they were called Endo's. stopie? That just sounds funny!!! :lmao:

They are almost the same.

An endo is a wheelie on the front wheel. An endo does not require the bike to come to a complete stop.

A stopie is a wheelie on the fron wheel that you ride all the way until you stop then set the back tire down.

Maybe, where I was from though it was going over the tank into the dirt. Now, for all you hotdoggers.
I was over at a guys house that repairs motorcycles. He showed me a street bike that had gotten laid down at a fairly slow speed. The mirror and some plastic were about all it looked like got hurt, but it had cracked the engine case and the repair was going to be over $5000.

So you are saying that the back wheel never comes down on an endo? Its your definition! :lmao:

I said an endo does not require the bike to come to a complete stop. For example if you are driving down the road at 30 mph and pull the back wheel up for 10 to 15 feet then set it back down at a speed of 15 mph that would be an endo.

The only diference between an endo and a stopie is if the bike comes to a complete stop or not during the trick.

Here is a pic of a nice 12 oclock wheelie.
