I knew that at some point someone would accuse this guy of being gay. I just don't get that. Why is it, that a subject like this, which is controversial can't be discussed without someone accusing the author of being a closet gay?

This is the way people who try to protect this class of people behave. Insult, intimidate, do whatever it is to silence someone who has an opposing view.

Before you attack me, I actually have no more problem with a gay person having sex than a straight person having pre-marital sex. Same thing in my book, and I wouldn't judge either. While I find the thought of two men together repugnant, I don't judge what they do, as I feel that is the way they are born same as me being born a heterosexual. People share views negative to issues here all the time to generate discussion. Why sink to insults about the author?

I'm a registered Independent. I wasn't talking about 'tolerance of free speech'. Socialists preach tolerance of ideas, except when those ideas conflict with their own. We are quite intolerant of folks who don't make intellectual sense as you well know, being on the receiving end of tomatoes thrown at you as you're in the stocks.

Be intolerant toward bigots and irrational righties, it's guaranteed under the Constitution that you may make an ass of yourself whenever and however often you want. You just get called on your intolerance toward opinions other than your own. I think you're a bigot for hating folks of whatever persuasion. Don't be a hater, boy. I am just posting news ......I don't wright the stories. All the posts are current news stories that the main stream news outlets seem to pass over. I think If you did a little homework you would see I have posted about wide variety of issues.

And for the record if andymarquis or whoever (gay/polygamist/alcoholic etc) was in immediate harm I would certainly do whatever I could to help. That is my job (popo) and also the right thing to do.

a quick search showed that 7 of 9 topics started by you were homosexual bashing

so I shouldn't say all you do is start gay bashing threads. Just 77% of the time.

edit: and one of the two not about gay people was started last year. You've had 7 of 8 topics made into gay bashing in the last month and a half.
