every child can be rude it depends on what they are taught at home. I will promise mine are definitely taught manners!!!!!!!!

You can teach all you want and kids will still make there own decision.

The mall is a hangout place. Why would they have an arcade at malls. Why ice cream, music stores and places like spencers are there. For teens to spend money on.

Sweet!! And I will have all this money left over that I can't spend at the mall anymore. So prices are going to go up...and taxes will increase. just a heads up

but hey! look on the bright side, I wont be at the mall

Next time you're at mall, look around. The Natzi is located right next to the rift and the raft.

I've not read this whole thread, but personally, I'd not drop my kid at the mall, or anywhere for that matter, and leave. Unless there was another parent taking my shift. I don't consider myself an over protective parent, it's just common sense really. You're just looking for trouble when you give your kid that much "space". I'm okay with taking my oldest to the mall with their friends and letting them go around on their own for a little while, but no way would I just leave him. Same with the movie theater, same with the skating rink etc.. And quite honestly, as much as they outwardly grumble, I really think kids appreciate the fact that their parents don't just dump them off anywhere and everywhere. It helps with the peer pressure, they can always blame having to behave on the fact that their parents might just come around the next corner. Takes the heat off of them.

It's not the mall staff's responsibility to police my children, they've got better things to do, like police unruly "adults". :ohwell:

You should PM Vrai and Nomoney and tell them I'm obviously still a kid and have me thrown out.

the whole things is blown out of proportion now- the point was why are there so many groups of kids just walking around the mall causing trouble and just hanging out apposed to shopping or doing something kids should be doing. Most of the young girls have no respect for theirself you can look at them there and see this. It wasn't brought up for the type of discussion it has turned too!

I'm sure some teens drive themselves and friends to the mall. I don't know what the age is here to get a license though.

Please, please, please just tell me you aren't home-schooling your children.
