I think by the question being "where is God" some of us took that to mean this person does not believe in God and wanted a debate of sorts
I'm sorry if I gave you that impression. Let me clear that up right now: I most certainly DO believe in God, although I will admit that some of my beliefs differ from yours. I think if we take a good look, we will find that
each of us have
some beliefs that are different than our neighbors. Even people who belong to the same church will have some beliefs which don't match with the person who sits in the next pew. Belief in God is a very personal thing.
That being said, I will not judge you and I respect the right of any person to believe what they want -- even if I disagree completely with what they believe.
Yes, I believe in God. I believe that God is The Source and Substance of All That Is. I believe that God is infinite (in an infinite number of ways). I believe that, as God is infinite, there is no place that God "is not" -- God simply is. And, because a (very) simple definition of Heaven is "where God is" and because I believe that God is everywhere all the time, I believe that we are already in Heaven -- there is no place we need "to go to get to God." However, because of our free will, we freely see ourselves as separate from God and from one another which has created the Hell we call Earth. Enlightenment comes, in my view, when we realize that, like a wave on the ocean is what the ocean is doing, we are what God is doing.
I believe that God loves me and you beyond our ability to comprehend. I believe that God loves us individually and as One. I believe that God loves us unconditionally -- without judgement, without strings, without restrictions: perfectly. I choose to believe in Universal Redemption because anything less would be conditional love (in my eyes).
That's what I believe -- in a nutshell.
