I'm looking for a nice set too. Mine was mostly this and that. Jazz bought a set of Wolfgang Puck cookware at BJ's. I think she really likes it.
Yes, I do like it a lot and for $99, it is a good quality set. I haven't had any problems with it other than the one lid that came dented and it was replaced. I would love to have a higher line set like Calphalon but the budget can't afford it yet. First, I need a good set of knives to replace the el cheapo crappy set I have.

I bought day a knife set last year for Christmas that I got at Kohl's. It was about a week or two prior to Christmas and they were having a 70% off sale at the time. You might want to check with them in a few weeks to see if they have something you're looking for.

Where is Kohl's? The mall? :yikes:

I know what I want but I have champagne tastes on a beer budget at times. I really miss the Wusthof santoku knife I used to have. This is an excellent set and basically what I want.

BJ's has a real nice set of knives....I got the best friend a set and his daughter(the espiring chef) liked them so much that I had to go get me a set, too :yay:

I can't remember the price, but they were less than $100

They are Cuisinart and are priced at $69 right now. I know - I keep looking at them and trying to decide if I want to get them or hold out for the good ones. :jameo:

Dayum, ya'll use alot of fancy cookware with fancy names. Just plain old stainless steel pots and pans, and an electric skillet made me the gourmet cook I am today.

I am a little biased, but I have had T-Fal and Calphalon and Pampoered Chef has held up much better and I can clean it with a paper towel.
