Why women "don't like nice guys"

Sweet 16

^^8^^
When I was young, I always liked the cute bad boys rather than the not-as-cute nice guys, even when I was 15! I'm not sure why, I just did. They weren't mean or anything, I guess I was just attracted to manly guys that asserted themselves and were "cool" rather than the sensitive types tripping over themselves to please me. Now that I've been married a while, it's a whole different ballgame. You just want someone to be nice to you and treat you respectfully and occasionally take you out for a romantic dinner. Your perspective changes with age and your relationship status. Now if I were dating again, I'm not sure what type I'd pick.

I'm not interested in being any of those. It's just not worth it. And I have too much respect for myself to hang on with someone not interested in me for anything besides that.

What's interesting is that apparently there are numerous STDs out there, hiding in the most innocent looking men and women, just waiting to infect you for life. Yet "one-night stands" and "booty calls" - sex with strangers that could potentially rot your genitals - are more popular than ever.

And the thought of this is downright scary. With as much value as I place on my health & well-being, I sure as heck wouldn't want to wreck it this way.

I never had a f buddy. Guess I'm too old for something like that. I mean that things like that weren't discussed back in my day.
Even if there was such a thing like that back then, I'd still not do it.

BUT, I would have fallen for "the lines" guys use today. I know I would. I am a sucker (for sure) when it comes to stuff like that.

I think today's society is really messed up when it comes to relationships. I also think movies and television shows have contributed greatly to that.

I visit a dating site a few times a month and most of the older women (over 40) say the same things: "I want a guy who can make me laugh, no games and no drama!" Lots of women like the bad boys until they find they cannot handle all that goes with it. They want bad boys who are nice guys :duh:

It seems to me that women don't mind nice guys who might simply say hello to them in a social setting but they really like a guy who isn't as mundane and says more than a simple hello when they meet. IOW; why just say "hi" when a bit of "cockyness" will interest her more?

Because other women are jealous of her. Men call a woman a slut when she WON'T have sex with him.

What's the difference between a slut and a biatch?

A slut will eff anyone
A biatch will eff everyone except you.

How is that working out for you?

"Nice guys finish last"

Living proof. :howdy: Should have played the bad boy more than once.

Trade in that two wheeled recliner, or at least put some flames and skulls on it. Everyone knows that flames and skulls mean, "DON"T MESS WITH ME 'CUZ I'M BAD!"
