Here is what NOAA's Hydrometeorological Prediction Center is saying (updated at 3:00 pm):

Probability of at least 4"

Probability of 8"

So for Southern MD, a 40% chance of 4" and borderline 10% chance of 8", higher amounts further north and west.

The graphics aren't nearly as nice as what the TV stations make available but the knowledge backing these forecasts is superior.
