Still sad.
I don't get all involved in all of the sadness that stupid people cause themselves
I feel bad for the family that they left behind because they were stupid. Or maybe a spouse. The fact that they would subject their family to that kind of thing shows that they don't really give a crap about anybody but themselves.

So sad.I think I read where 3 died in a rip current at Panama Beach 3 days ago.
Pretty sure we can all figure out why."No call ambulance....boy be ok..no call ambulance".
We were..frankly...stunned at their behavior, in every respect.Pretty sure we can all figure out why.
A trip to the ER would be more than advisable. There is a 'post drowning' condition that happens well after a person is recovered and appears to be ok. The trauma to the lungs sets up a secondary attack later. Called "dry drowning" or "secondary drowning".
So sad.
Some years ago, we rescued two family members - father and son - from drowning at the Piney Point-St. George Island "not public but publicly used" beach. Tidal rip on the channel side of that beach is quite aggressive....something locals know but not the weekend trespa...er..visitors. Anywho, young kid who was part of a largish family group ventured off the beach on the channel side, got caught in the rip, and didn't know to simply let it carry him until it stopped. He started to drown fighting it. His father had to try and save him...ended up in same predicament.
I just happened to have come through under the bridge from being out fishing in my 25' Rampone and had pulled up to Swanns to hit the bar for some cold ones when we heard the screams from family members over at the beach (didn't hear anything when we originally passed by same beach due to the noise from twin outboards). Didn't finish docking...gunned the boat over and as we were approaching the area where all the family members were frantically pointing to from the beach, one of the other guys on my boat barely made out the face of the boy under water..already pretty much drowned and sinking fast. Hooked him with a line hook just as he was almost out of reach...pulled his limp body up and in to the boat and flopped him on the deck. Incredible luck there; hell, I could just as easily finished him off with a propeller strike. His Dad was still visible on the surface, flailing away but still visible on the surface. We quickly grabbed him up too.
Zoomed over to Swanns to dock. Forced the water out of the boy's lungs as we went and he quickly came around, gacking all over the deck of my boat. Family members arrived from the beach on the opposite side of the bridge. "No call ambulance....boy be ok..no call ambulance". OK fine...went in to Swann's and ordered those beers we'd been after. Came back out fifteen minutes later and...
They are all gone...gack still all over the deck of my fishing boat...and not so much as a "thank you" from a single one of them.
Eff 'em.
Or whattabout us?...rescue operation delayed our sitting at the bar with a cold one in hand. Jeez....we sacrificed a lot.People are annoying. That's what ticks me off the most - they think nothing of the poor rescue worker who has to risk themselves dragging their dumb ass out of the drink.
we agree
There was one last week where both parents committed suicide by rip current while their like 5 children watched. The 2 kids in the water were smart enough to not try to rescue them, so there's hope for the family. But it's a terrible thing to experience. You have to wonder what kind of parents risk themselves like that.
Of course, if I had 5 kids....
(Oh, stop that gasping. )

Look at this: a leftie trying to pretend they have a heart and actually care about another human being so they can flex on a conservative.Their parents drowned in front of them.
Their lives are forever changed, so much sadness lies ahead of them. I hope they have a support system that can somehow help with this unbelievable and unexpected grief.
Your monstrous comments aren’t funny or shocking. They are you.
