I fail to see how storm runoff is "harrassment." It's pretty obvious that the runoff is right where it's expected - there's a storm drain grate in the pictures. It looks like someone doesn't want their neighbor's rain to affect their property.

This tells me something too: "others in the neighborhood." When someone thinks that all of their neighbors are out to get them, they just might be

I would think the harassment would be the neighbors response to the OPs unhappiness with the new drainage solution. And from what I see, the storm grate led to the drainage pipe/culvert that the one person buried. since that grate then couldn't drain into the culvert, it flooded the roadway. Rather than make the culvert operational again, they dug a ditch towards the OPs property. I could be wrong, but that looks to be what happened.

Have seen and spoken with 14 lawyers in St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles County. No one wants to be involved due to politics. St. Mary's County offices are well aware of everything that's been going on, but it's a private road and they will not get involved. Funny why all the lawyers I have seen and spoken with concerning this matter say there's a conflict due to knowing the wrongdoers. Either the lawyer has done some type of business, went to school with them, married their sister or brother, just one excuse after another. I would like to know how these lawyers stay in business if everyone knows everybody " this is a small town ".

Try Southern PG or AA county. It's not that far away and they won't be in bed with them.

I'm wondering if this thread will still be alive tomorrow if Cindy Jones looses in today's primary election.

The harassing behavior from those involved has been going on for a very long time and there are so many witnesses, documents, and pictures. Neighbor's coming in and out on the private dirt road at excessive speed, laying on the horn while proceeding around the inside corner on both sides of the property at all hours of the day and night. Those involved even have their family members and visitors harassing too.

The metal grate you see in the picture was put there by Brian Jones on 8/3/2013, after he and other's dug a hole in the pipe for all the road run-off to run towards he's neighbor's property. That pipe was purchased and installed by the property owner with the intent to control the road run-off and to protect their property from further damages, which did not work.

The original development drainage ditch and drain pipe for the road and other properties storm run-off was covered by the property owner Diane Henderson, and she planted trees in the roadway where the ditch and drain pipe use to be. The uncontrolled run-off continues running across her neighbor's property causing ongoing damages while those who pass by watch, laugh, and take pictures.

Surely these neighbors wouldn't want to be harassed and incur damages to their property as they have been doing to another. But, maybe they would like to be treated the same as they have been doing themselves, not caring about anyone and continues with their nasty vindictive behavior and actions.

I wonder if the OP realizes that posting on a public forum about this issue jeopardizes his/her case if this ever goes to trial? Worse still, elements of what is being posted (accusations of intent, for example) border on slander and/or defamation, especially when it was started the day before an election involving the other party, with a brand new account on this forum apparently created just for this purpose. It's even more amazing when you realize that the OP has made it very easy to identify him/her, given that it's a matter of public record where the parties involved live. There's no anonymity in this case.

In my opinion, "out4aride55" ought to shut up, realize that public opinion on this case doesn't seem to be trending in his/her favor, delete their postings, and try a more legal and less morally repugnant means of dealing with a troublesome neighbor.

1) How does this hurt a case if it goes to trial? Do the lawyers and judges read this and decide the person is crazy? I'm not sure I follow your logic.
2) Given that there are pictures that could arguably back up the story, I have a feeling slander will be difficult to prove, if not impossible. And if it's forged, it's not like they'll be able to charge the OP with slander since it's a random internet account.

It's well known that posting on internet forums about pending court actions can negatively impact a plaintiff's case.

Facts are facts, yes. However statements as to intent and character are legally risky, and I see more than a few in OP's postings. Any smart lawyer would use this thread to influence a jury or judge. It's not about "crazy", it's about character.

Random account? When the OP clearly claims to be the aggrieved party? It would be straightforward to prove that the aggrieved neighbor was the account holder, especially since a confirmed email address is on file with the forum.

I have no interest in this thread or the OP's problems. I just hate seeing this kind of mess playing out in public especially when it's legally risky. Take it offline and don't get yourself in further trouble. Of course, there are plenty of people here who probably love watching the train wreck.

I have tried to ignore it but curiosity is getting the best of me. So is there 3 roads right next to each other or was the fence built down the middle of a road? And just to be clear this is a quote from one of your pictures "Diane Henderson plowed her property out covering the original drainage ditch & drain pipe. Planted trees where drain ditch was & covered driven roadway. She is 29' into the roadway. " Do you realize how big 29 feet is? I doubt the entire road is 29 feet wide so I find it hard to believe she extended her yard 29 feet into the roadway.
