Only happy When It Rains

I've been toying with the idea for my home. Currently I sometimes get one whole station, on a good day, if I'm in the mood for country. Other than the initial cost, what is the monthly charge?
It's 12.95 a month, but if you sign up for a multiple year contract it can be as low as 9.99 a month. The nice thing about the multi year is that if you decide to cancel down the road, you are refunded your unused time and there is no penalty. XM's hardware is years ahead of Sirius, and it's easy to see. FREE XM RADIO ONLINE TRIAL

The radio was delivered today, so it was waiting for me when I got home. Took it out to the game room and hooked it up to the stereo system and stuck the antenna in the window (it was raining out so I didn't feel like taking it up on the roof today) picked up the test signal, got online and activated it. By the time I got back out to the gameroom the display showed it had been activated and I clicked to my favorite (for now) channel. Everything works great although I probably won't be doing much listening at home. The rain let up for a little bit so I took it out to the truck and in about 5 min had it playing :yay: sounds better than the built in fm radio. Next step will be to make the car adapter a more permanent install. Hard wire the power instead of using the cigarette lighter adapter, and figure out if there are jacks on the back of the radio for audio input instead of the cassette adapter.

got it

Got MyFi for DH about six weeks ago. He seems to really enjoy it and thinks it's definitely worth the extra $ compared to other (non-MyFi) XM setups. He brings it around the house and brings into work occassionally. I really like the fact that you can listen to XM from any radio in your house. Haven't hooked it up to the car yet.
