Yelling/arguing in public is ridiculous, IMO, as is slamming doors while other people may be trying to sleep :yay: I just dislike when people argue so loudly in public because it should be our business, not everyone elses (and there is no reason to disrupt someone else's nice dinner with our arguement, for example)

When I tell my boys to clean their rooms and return to find it hasn't been done, I will clean it with a garbage bag. I have had garbage bags sitting in the garage for weeks before returning them... :shrug:

Being a kid in my house isn't all that hard, do your homework and clean up after yourself. Not hard at all....

My slots are full... I am a neighborhood hangout for kids, for some reason. It is rather frustrating at times. I wonder why here? Don't your friends have houses? :lol:

When they really get on my nerves, I send them out the door to jump on the trampoline. That only works with #2 son, not #1 son anymore, and not today, due to the rain! :mad:

I tend to yell pretty quickly when they don't listen when asked.

Yes. I yelled at my kids when they were young. If that didn't work, they got a good old-fashioned ass-warming. That worked!
Next time I yelled, they listened. :shrug:

I yell - or at least raise my voide - when I'm not particularly angry. It's a loud house anyway, so I need to speak up just to be heard either way.



However, when I'm very angry, I speak very softly.




Kids get nervous when dad's all quiet-like.
