I learned with my first child to put the fear of God in them when they are very young. My oldest (8) just has to get "the look". Now on the other hand we have a 2 1/2 year old that we are in the process of putting the fear of God into. She is not catching on as well as the first one. So needless to say there has been much more yelling than before.
Sometimes I wish I could get away with duct taping her to the ceiling for an hour or so just to get some peace.
