Let me reiterate my post, so that you can stop trying to bully me behind your keyboard, ***. I'm fully aware of the decades old buildings. I'm referring to the "surrounding area". Feel better now?
I can see increased runoff potential from the old Hayden Farm property (Leonard's Grant, Library, Duke ES) into McIntosh Run. Couple that with Nelson Run behind McKay's feeding into McIntosh at 243 and you can have issues. BUT, the thing to really take into account is the astronomical amounts rain we have received this year and the new fact that when it does rain we either get a light sprinkle or Ark worthy deluges. Also keep in mind that McIntosh run and Brooks run both begin in Hollywood and is the drainage for a very large area and that they both dump into a tidal body of water that presents a whole new variable on how fast everything drains.

That whole area has flooded down there for as long as I can remember and I was stunned when 1st National Bank (PNC) left Leonardtown Square to build in a swamp.

I had to take Hollywood Rd. to Rt. 235 this morning, because Rt.5 at was closed in Leonardtown by the winery. Hopefully, its open when I get ready to leave work. Has anybody heard if it is or not?

Since it's been raining most of the day I wouldn't expect it to be open yet. Good luck!

I had to make an emergency run from Piney Point to Callaway an hour ago. (Beacon Liquors..ran outa beer). I was surprised to see that the creek through the Smith's property in the bottom just before the Callaway intersection was not high at all, considering all the other flooding going on.
