Why, because they're in the spotlight? Neither one of them, Kenny especially, is a show-off and both are low-key. I say the marriage will last. Maybe not forever, but I don't think it will end anytime soon.

I just can't picture them together though. But I hope it lasts for both of their sake. I was shocked when I heard it on the radio last night.

I was so upset. I was hoping to go to his concert this year so he can see me and fall in love and then make me Mrs. KC!

Great grandparents: never dated, he was a sailor during WW11-she was a bartender. He came in one day(after being a patron for a few weeks) and said "get your coat we are getting married" married happily until her death last year.

Grandparents: met during spring break, married 1 week later. Married happily until her death 47 years later.

I agree. Some people know each other for years, get married and end up divorced. Some, 5-minutes, get married and stay married. It is all in the couple and how much effort both are willing to put into it.

Don't get me wrong, I really do hope is lasts. I like her movies and his songs. Neither of them seem to be drama whores like Brit. Spears and her ilk. I just don't think it will last because of the strain that tours and movie filming will put on it. Hopefully I am wrong.

My mother rented a room from my Grandparents in Arlington while my dad was off to WWII. Grandma made him sleep on the back porch when he came home so he had to marry mom to get back in the house. This year will 58 years they've been married.
