You round eyes who try to eat with chopsticks

What’s up with these people that go to Chinese restaurants and eat with chopsticks? I am not talking about Chinese people who live in China and are here visiting I am talking about every day regular round eyed slack jawed Southern Maryland inbred Americans. I was in a restaurant and in walks “big fat round eye” and he tells the waitress “I need some chopsticks” like he couldn’t eat without them (I think he was trying to impress the other round eyes with him). Meanwhile this tard can’t eat with them, he keeps dropping food and looks like a complete azztard. Come on people the fork works great WTF would you want to use chopsticks.

I haven't checked recently, but if my jaw is slack I'd better go see a doctor. I've got a pair of chopsticks here at home, and I use them occasionally for practice, out of RESPECT for the SLANTY-EYED LITTLE RUNTS who are selling us derivations of their traditional foods. I dont complain (although I WANT TO)when the little buggers won't speak ENGLISH in AMERICA, so I see no reason why THEY should complain about ME trying to use their chopsticks.

Good grief, man, go eat a popsicle or something!!! :duh:

Hey now. :nono: I'm pretty darned good with a set of chopsticks. But I reserve my skillz for the Japanese Joints. Why bother at a Chinese buffet.

I only eat with chopsticks out of respect at Chinese, etc. restaurants. I also think they're a lot of fun!

However, I know I'm not an expert, so I keep a fork close at hand. I don't want to gross people out by dropping my food or shoveling it into my mouth...

I use chopsticks only when I diet (never  ). A fork, spoon or hands have worked fine for years on just about everything. No need for anything else.

I have a chinese friend that I go to lunch and what not with fairly often. He is on a mission to teach me to eat with chopsticks, primarily cuz I embarrassed him so badly at sushi bar in Nova Scotia.

I refuse to eat with chopsticks. I'm an american using a fork. I know that the chinese people have been using chopstics for thousands of years, and it's traditional, but here in the states, a fork is our tradition. It's called "evolution". We've taken someone elses idea and made it better. We do it to the chinese all the time. For crying out loud, most restaurants, chinese included, use forks/spoons/knive sets that were MADE in China, so I KNOW with NO doubts that these people KNOW about a fork. Of course, they make santa claus heads too, but that's a different story.

Americans have a LONG history of improving upon Chinese inventions. Just look at what we did with their gunpowder and rice. :lmao: MUCH bigger booms, and ya can't beat a 10 minute boil-in-bag.

If some poor schmuck wants to limit his intake per hour by using chopstiks, so be it. It ain't for me. When I tie on the chow bag, I'm on a mission, and it ain't to lose weight nor is it to learn a 5000 year old tradition.

Things improve for a reason. Most of us are slightly more dignified and classy than the barbarians of 5000 years ago. Some of us actually care about what we look like when we eat. Shoveling it in from a bowl with a pair of sticks will NEVER look good.

I don't understand the using them "out of respect" thing. Are Chinese people actually offended by the use of forks in their restaurants? I wouldn't feel disrespected if I saw a Chinese guy using chopsticks at Outback.

I used them from when I was a kid. When I was a kid, it was fun. Now, I just use them because its part of eating Chinese. I do okay.

Also, as said above, its easier to eat Sushi with.

I don't believe I've ever seen anybody eat Sushi with a fork. I think sometimes I use chopsticks at Sakura. Except for the soup. I love that little bowl and spoon. I almost have a set of 12! Two more visits!!
