We purchased our tt from Leo's and their service and prices were great. We also were looking at used and ended up with a new camper as their prices were a couple thousand more for new and the interest rates were great.

For lenses it really depends on what you want to shoot. I typically will only purchase 2.8 lenses for the speed and low light capabilities. If looking at a telephoto I would look at the Nikon 20-200mm lense. 2.8mm and it a great lens. I don't know if that is too much for the 3000 or not...
