There are products made from Bacillus Thuringensis called mosquito bits and mosquito dunks that are a biological way to control the larvae and fungus gnats. We have been using the dunks in our pond and the bits in areas with standing water; like where we have stacked wood covered by tarps. It is safe to use in bird baths, troughs, water gardens etc. Not to be used for (human) drinking water sources.
