Like I said, it's just my opinion. There your kids, you raise them however you feel, I'm sure there is an empty jail cell waiting for them somewhere.

Go back and read your posts. You talk #### about me being lazy and all that crap, and it's you that spends no time with your kids...:lmao:

Sure.

Come on now, smoof. Do you really think anyone is going to believe that a teacher tried to prescribe drugs to your child? Just totally skipped the whole medical school thing and started writing prescriptions, huh?

Or did the teacher try to talk to you about your kids behavioral problems and you :lalala: and ignored it?

 you clown, I never said anything about her giving him the drugs. She was telling me that she was going to recommend that he go on them.

Sorry, I actually work for a living. When I do go out and hit it hard, you better believe that the kids are in bed asleep.

So now you're saying children on ADHD medication are going to end up in Jail? no! I do believe you're wrong! Because my son has never been in trouble with the law and has never been in trouble at school and he's been on the medication for 11 years! Not to mention he's a straight A and B student so now I know you reall yhave no clue what you're talking about!

Not at all, I miss the two hours when they get ready for school. I'm home before they get home, I do their homework with them. I even coach their baseball team......not that you would ever get off your lazy ass to do anything like that.

How much time do you spend just hangin' out with him?

When he comes home from school, during homework, after, on the weekends...

Maybe you should be on the medication also, where in my post did I ever say anything about ADHD children ending up in jail? I just said her kids would

I would seriously question a diagnosis, but I do believe that it does exist, can be treated, and medication can be part of the treatment.
I agree with that - it's the same with peanut allergies. I fully believe *some* kids truly have it, but not one friggin' third of the kids out there, as the poll is showing.

When I was a kid NOone had ADHD or peanut allergies. Not a single kid. My dorkstein cousin with his dip#### hippie feminazi Mom was "allergic" to strawberries, yet we'd eat them out of the garden all the time and he never had a reaction.

I'm telling you, one of the reasons I ran away from home was because I couldn't relate to the dingy Moms in my neighborhood. We'd do get-togethers and the women would sit around and compare their kids' illnesses and meds. It was sick, like these Munchausen by Proxy psychos.

On a serious note, I found it very interesting about chemical imbalances and their tendency to run in families; that is mental health issues. I know of a gal with three children that has Narcolepsy. Her middle child has moderate ADHD. Her cousin has ADHD and Tourrette's associated tremors and ticks. His mother and grandmother (the gal's grandmother as well) both are bipolar.

The gal with Narcolepsy has pretty much become med free. The middle child is medicated only when absolutely necessary - I believe during stressful situations/hyperactivity or long interruptions from careful routine. The cousin is virtually free of his Tourrette's associated meds/side effects as well as any meds for the ADHD and joined the service. And the grandmother and daughter struggle, but mostly due to resistence.

Now, granted this is a very large family, but they don't just "accept" a diagnoses and open up and say "ahhhh" for a pill...

When I heard about them, I found it interesting to have so much "stuff" going on in their gene pool.

Does it make ADD/ADHD any more viable where mental health issues are already present in the bloodline?
