Disconnect the horn? That should only be one wire.
I will have Desertrat get right on that when I get home.

To disarm the system:
Unlock a front door using either the key or the Keyless
Entry Transmitter.
Tamper Alert
If the horn sounds 3 times when you unlock a front door
using either a key or the Keyless Entry Transmitter, the
alarm has been triggered.

Isn't the horn usually on it's own fuse? That would be easiest, and no wire to reconnect.
I love this thread.
Have you heard it in the a.m.????? Next time, I'll pull into your driveway.
Does the remote have a 'panic' or horn button, and how perverted a sense of humor does your husband have??
Enough to install the "la cucaracha" horn tonight while telling her I am trying to fix the problem.
That will bring the illegals running out of the trailer hidden across the street.
Well, seems the convertible Sebring has an issue with the alarm. When I press the button in the a.m. to unlock it, SOMETIMES, the horn goes off and continues honking. In the beginning, I could get in the car and start the engine and it would stop honking. NOW, it will continue honking for a bit, say 20 seconds - long honk, not interrupted, then stop. Last time it stopped, it was fine UNTIL I got say 3 houses away and then it started again. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK. Stopped after a few houses. Today, it honnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnked, FINALLY stopped after say 30 seconds after I started it up. Got about a mile, doing 40 down 235 and honk, honk, honk for about 15 seconds...WTF? It's kind of embarassing. Any ideas? Looked in the manual and there are no instructions to dismantle it......
The more info you can supply the more help you will get back. What year is this Sebring and Is it a factory alarm or ad on? I have been working for Chrysler for 28 years and may be able to help you if you supply this info

It's a 2005. I bought it used in 2006 with 12,000 miles on it. It has 23,000 on it now and I assume it is a factory alarm.
Help! We can't disable it. The dealer here is stupid. I am tired of honking at people when I'm not honking at people. It only does it IN THE MORNING when it is cold.... so far.
Tell my husband to disconnect the wire to the horn and if he won't, I have a pair of wire cutters....problem solved
My alarm on my truck WAS hooked up to a small horn under the hood....but, the "panic button" is hooked up to my truck horn
I pulled the wire and now I don't get the annoying horn going off everytime a bird flies over and sh!ts on my truck like it use to
You have no idea what I am going thru. It just starts honking on 235 sometimes. A few times the Sheriff's deputy I see every morning is in front of me. It's just a matter of time before you bail me out.

Does it have 2 horns or one?....did you try to change the battery in your remote switch?
Bail money is in the bank waiting for the day that you will need it
Sorry, I've never had a problem with my Sebring but my JGC has an aftermarket alarm system that is possessed. I'm about ready to rip that sucker out for good.
