 Good for you my-thyme! Keep up the good work! Even though it sounds like I am only a half step ahead of you, if I can do it, ANYBODY can do it! :flowers:

So you bringing your bike to Spring Ridge this evening? Is that what you are saying??

I really wish that I could - I have an appointment in La Plata at 5:00pm.

I would be more likely to try to join up a weekend ride, provided that I had an escort ~ not quite confident enough to solo yet.

My-Thyme!

Nice ride! Nice to have met you!

Ok, where did we loose APS ? He was playing tag with the cones at St.Marys, and when we got to Hermanville Rd, he was gone! Never saw him leave the group.

Thanx for the nice ride, everyone.

Aps blew by me. First, I thought it was some kind of a bug, but then I noticed it was him.

Great meeting you, Mythyme. You did GREAT! It was a great evening and thanks for the tour down those back roads. I had never been down that road and it was beautiful! The deer was beautiful and you took your hand off to point it out to us. More rides ahead. You did MUCH better than I did when starting out.! :huggy:

Thanks, Everyone!

I had a great time, really nice to meet you all! I'd never been to Point Lookout on the bike.

Rosecroft Road is a great ride (and I've yet to go down it and NOT see a deer), there are other fun roads in that area, but they mostly dead-end at the water, harder to turn around.

Think I need to get a brace for my right elbow, really stiff after I ride, must be gripping the throttle too tight (or just gettin OLD!).

Thanks, everyone! Lets do it again real soon...I'm ready whenever ya'll are! :howdy:

Kind of interesting taking that back windy road. I was watching MyThyme and BSGal from the back. Nice, slow, even upright corners. Well done. Then APS and DR, leaning a bit more, not wanting to catch up to you too fast, then ItsBob, leaning a little more with a bit more throttle, then me. I came into the corners fast, accelerated thru then slingshoting out the other side scrapping the pegs and almost running Bob over....

I like those corners almost as much as APS liked the cross-walk markers and tooting his own horn.

I always get confused on the corners. If it's a left corner, if it's a right, I can never remember which way to go. I think it's an opposite thing. If you go into a right corner, you head left, first, and then the opposite with a right corner, I THINK. I was paying a lot of attention to MyThyme, so not really thinking about it. Thanks for the kudos, though! Nice evening, nice little ride. MyThyme's doing very well. It seems we made a lot of left turns. Nice to see our drive through gal in her car to cheer us on!

Thanks for the well done :huggy: I enjoy myself more every time I go out. Waiting for the over-confidence to kick in, then I'll land in the road. :killingme

Glad you liked the road! Probably too residential for a group of bikes, but I'm sure they didn't mind.

I've been told there is a white/albino buck down there...would love to see him!

I couldn't believe when I looked in my mirror and saw some fool weaving the markers! Aps, huh? :buttkick: Better watch those college security guys - they're tough!

Next step could be we pick you up and head towards Leonardtown and out to the 7th. We really want to try the chicken at Chaptico Market and we could go up Route 5. Long ride, but no traffic. And the traffic circle up there is interesting. :yay:

Traffic circle? :yikes:

Haven't been into the 7th on the bike, barely get up there in a vehicle...sounds good!

AND chicken?

Here's a warning. Never, ever ride with Dukesdad through a traffic circle. You will get dizzy if you don't know where to turn off.

Fun times.. nice ride, and as always good people..

I like corners.. a LOT!!

Watching form the back I think she did great. Maybe a little more confidence, but for a new rider. VERY GOOD. very stable, kept her track and did a great job as second bike in a group.

The buck was an awesome extra..

I like bikes!
