We actually have a new talk show?, that's not controlled by the local powers to be. I'll just have to get the old radio down out of the attic, or shed, or basement and see if it works. I should not have been spoiled on XM radio. I haven't listened to 98 FM since.........Wow, since they started talking, and playing Loui Loui five times a day. :lalala:

I was listening. The show definitely has potential. Don't listen to naysayers. I guarantee there's way more people that like the show and keep quiet about it, than people who don't like it, and shout it from the mountaintops.

Yeah, but that's what you expect when you tune in. Like the Greaseman when he used to be on 101. I miss that guy and he was gross as hell.

I don't think it was a personal attack. I think that it was a rather tactless venting of an opinion about your talent. Or a troll.

I don't think that anyone blames you for taking it personally - and us folks in the forums flame each other to scorched embers constantly.

I think the problem that vrai has, and other people who have remarked on your comment, is that you're not here as "Mike the forum guy" - you're here in these forums as "Moondog Michael" and since you've been promoting your radio stations, that puts you in the role of representing your radio show, and your entire radio station for that matter.

If you're here professionally, you're going to hear about it when you say something that's not professional, even if people generally agree with your beef.

And I'd use that term "talent" very loosely. Busting on peoples' Mom isn't particularly clever. You'd think a DJ would be a little better at this.

The classic "your momma" comeback is almost reflex for some. Example: Saturday I am with Boy 1 and his 4 friends. They crack on each other, Boy 1 says something, Friend says "your momma", then says "oops I'm sorry, I didn't really mean that".

I wasn't aware 98.3 came in up in Western Maryland? :confused:

OK I'm listening for the first time since the middle of last winter, I can actually deal with this station. I've heard nothing but music since 6:30 am a little news form the Socialist Republic of Saint Mary's and back to music, I'm impressed. Don't take my St. Mary remark to heart, just some very bad dealings here lately,,,,just venting. Good job with 98.3, but I'm not putting my XM away just yet....... :larry:

This an opinion thread, and I posted my opinion. It is not a personal attack. As for "being tired of all the crap" maybe you shouldn't be in the public eye if you can't handle some criticism.
