Applying eyeshadow

Target, Target, Target.....Always talking about Target. Now I'm there like a bazillion times a week. And you can't just get the ONE thing you went in to get. Nope, never.

Another thing I just thought of...I like shadow eyeliner (rather than pencils or liquid) because I can get it closer to my lash line. I couldn't find an angled eyeliner brush that I liked, so I went to the craft section of Walmart and bought a paintbrush. I love that damn thing! It's like my favorite brush.

The set I got from Mary Kay has one of those brushes. I like it too!!

Ladies - When you apply eyeshadow, do you use a brush or one of those sponge-like applicators?

I throw away those sponge applicators that come with the eye shadow and use a brush.
HUmmmm....funny thing is I'm allergic to certain brands of shadow (Este Lauder makes my eyelids swell and burn). You would think it was hereditary......

I'm not allergic to certain brands, but to the dyes. I can't wear purples, plums (my fav!), and pinks. If I try them, it looks like I have pink eye until I wash it off.

I can wear browns, greys, and greens.

Someone mentioned MAC brushes a few posts back. They are worth the price. I have a couple and they are great. You can get them at Nordstoms.

Heck no. I only go there a few times a year for the Apple store. Other than that, I shop at St. Charles during the year and Fredericksburg at Christmas time.

I haven't stepped foot in that yucky mall (St. Charles) in 3 years. I stopped going to Annapolis when it first opened. It's gone down hill. I went back to shopping in Annapolis, that is where my mon took us as kids. Annapolis Mall was not open back then it was Parol Shopping Center. Back when Woodies was still open.

The Sonia Ksomething brand at Target brushes are nice as well.

I got some of these today and used them before we went to dinner tonight. I am very pleased!

I love my new Stila eyeshadow too.

I got those today, also. Feels like heaven when you apply stuff on your cheeks. I also went from a cream foundation to a powder one today. It feels great. I never knew about all this great stuff until you all started posting about it. Thanks.
