I've always prided myself on being a really good Mom... But I now realize I have failed beyond all imagination.

Tonight, we watched Pearl Harbor (again) My daughter looked up at me and said God must hate this Country.

I was like WTF? She said, "We killed so many and we have no business in Iraq."

I am so stunned and so furious that she will be lucky if I don't rip her hair out by it's little blonde roots!

I said Rachel, Who in the He!! made you think all of this? Her answer... "Everyone in the world except you."

I understand the whole rebellion thing but My God! :frown:

:ohwell: Sounds like typical teenager idealism. She'll be liberal for awhile.

Might want to find some of those good stories about those that are grateful for use being there, and forward them to her.

But in reality, it isn't the fact she is spewing sewage that upsets you. It is that she isn't spewing YOUR sewage.

My Grandfather was stationed Hickem (sp?) Field and my father was a little boy, both living in Hawaii, when Pearl Harbor was attacked, neither ever said they hated the United States.

To bad she couldn't talk to my Grandfather, he is deceased.
