I purposely chose not to live in a neighborhood so that I could avoid dealing with neighborhood kids who were raised to expect to get popsicle handouts from the neighbors...
A crazy guy on a street close to us told the ice cream to stop coming around my 'hood.

If it were a pay-by-the-person thing, like a skating party or whatever, that would be one thing. But a backyard gathering, I wouldn't think it would be a big deal..
:yeahthat:
What's one more icecream smeared kid jacked up on sugar, running around screaming in the back yard?

Eddie Murphy? I think you're reminiscing about your kids doing the one multicultural thing you taught them to do. :roflmao:

:huggy: It's ok.

What? The party is going to last all day? No. The party will be a few hours long. The kid goes to the party with no baggage in tow and end of story. don't insert any adult drama into a simple kiddy party.
Did you quote the right post?

Black Knight with Martin Lawrence would be good too :yay: It combines old world sensibility with modern day urban street life.

We had a family reunion and the neighborhood kids "inserted" themselves into the party. They even sat in on the family picture! Everyone loved it, it was my husband's family and he has fond memories of his "Italian" mother feeding anyone and everyone who crossed her treshold, hungry or not!

I might offer the "host" of the party to bring over sodas or another kind treat for the added guest, a watermelon or something the kids would enjoy that they may not already have. Have a great trip!

How about a watermelon full of booze so the parents don't give a rip what goes on?

Don't forget a present! I would not have a problem with it. I usually expect siblings and plan to serve extra

That was on last night, watched it with my son. He was amazed to learn that moats on medevil castles were actually open sewers.
