Baby girl's new shoes

Well, I'm sorry if it sounded that way. I really didn't mean it to sound like I was in a power struggle. If I wanted a power struggle, it would be over baby's pierced ears!! :lmao:
Hey... I think you should order baby girl a T-SHIRT.

I saw quite a few "guys" in Key West wearing them. :lmao:

I'll bet they were pink, too. :lmao: Okay, scratching Key West off my list of potential vacation spots. :dead:

They make them for GUYS too and they actually WEAR them? :yikes: :faint:
He has a pair for yardwork and a pair for the boat (they're white and don't leave marks) and the third pair doesn't have holes in them so he wears them to work because he's on his feet all day.

I am so very blessed
We took Baby Bubba shoe shopping on Thursday and he tried on several pairs of baby Croc's. They looked adorable on him, and they even fit well on his platypus-looking feet. So, there, Kwillia.

P.S. I'm kidding about the pierced ears....sorta.
If My exes chick did something like that she would get punched in the face. As for the crocs those are not only ugly but there summer shoes, that would be like putting flip flops on her. So I would see the point in not putting them on her when you have her. Plus like you said you guys buy her cloths and shoes for when you have have her and should get to use them.

Let who decide? The baby or the mom? The mom doesn't really have a say when the kids are with us, and vice versa. And the baby is 17 months....can't really decide which shoes to wear.
Wait until she gets a little older and insists on picking out her own clothes. :bubble: With all these strict wardrobe rules, she'll be sure to rebel. :lmao:

We don't have any strict wardrobe rules. I let boy decide what to wear today. I'm not going to let him pick shorts when it's cold out...so that's why I didn't put the crocs on baby girl when it's cold out. Seems reasonable to me...

It's the way you came off. Had you said, "Guess what my boyfriend's nitwit ex-wife did??? She sent her toddler to our house with only Crocs on her feet - in the middle of winter!!!" you'd have gotten a different reaction.

:yeahthat: And anyways, how much time is the baby spending outside? Because my 4 and a half year old routinely wears shorts on days he won't be playing outside, even if it's winter. I can understand your concern if she'll be outside all day, but you initially mentioned that you thought it was ugly to have to wear socks with them. How are we to know off the bat that you were worried about her tootsies getting cold and not just changing your tune now because you didn't get the desired reaction?

I know...I already said that I didn't mean it to be like a pissing contest with the mother...

Pierce her ears.

Her mom had them pierced...not us.

Well, I did say in post #3 that you had to put socks under them, which is ugly, but I explained in post #12 that it was a silly idea to even wear them in the winter IMO because baby's feet are always cold, and that type of footwear isn't good at keeping feet warm. It's not like she's outside all day, but if we want to run errands and we're in and out of stores then it doesn't make sense to wear them, so I wasn't going to put them on her feet.

I guess it's kinda a dual purpose reason...for one, I don't think they're attractive with socks under them in the winter, and I don't think they're warm enough for her feet. I don't see why it would matter if I'd rather her wear the shoes that we bought her when she's with us. I don't care what her mom wants to dress her in, and even if we did care, we wouldn't have a say over it. Different people have different tastes in clothes, and they usually dress their kids in clothes that they like. And don't think that it was my decision only on the crocs....when BF brought her in to the house, he pointed to her feet and said "what the he** are those?!" :lmao:

Thank God, Nickel gets it. Some of you young'ens totally miss the point. You need to relax or you're in for a world of trouble. :lmao:

Did you leave me red?

I bet all of you were soooo relaxed when you had your first child? C'mon now. Yes, we are young, but everyone learns as they go. The kids are in a safe, loving environment (on mom's and dad's sides) and that's all that matters.
