They're those blue-and-white short buses that usually are driving at or below the speed limit. If you've been here for more than a week, you've seen some.Vixen said:Maybe this is a dumb question, but what is an STS bus?
Is that a public transportation bus? Like VanGo?
I've only been in St. Mary's County for 18 months, and I just had not heard "STS" before today.
Yup. Kids and cars....>sigh<aps45819 said:4 guesses

Actually they are always going 45. 45 in a 55, 35, 25, or parking lot. They are the worst drivers I've ever seen.Railroad said:They're those blue-and-white short buses that usually are driving at or below the speed limit. If you've been here for more than a week, you've seen some.

Police in St. Mary's County say a teenager is dead and three others are injured after a crash in Loveville.
A 15-year-old girl was killed in the accident at about 7:40 a.m. Friday. According to authorities, a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria driven by a 17-year-old boy was traveling south on Route 5 when it crossed the centerline and collided with a county bus.
The driver of the Crown Victoria and a 14-year-old male passenger were airlifted to a Prince George's County hospital where, police said, they are listed in stable condition. A 17-year-old female passenger in the Crown Victoria was treated and released from St. Mary's Hospital.
In addition to the driver, the county bus carried a 51-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man. Those passengers were treated and released from St. Mary's Hospital.
Police said the teenagers were headed to class at Chopticon High School.
