Baseball season!!

We just moved to SYB from Hughesville Baseball. I chose SYB because I met a couple of the coaches at a select team tournament. Those kids seemed to have a ton of fun and the parents were really cool. My brother coaches in hughesville and has a select team for my nephew.
This is my daughters first year up on fast pitch majors girls so we should see how it goes. She has played ball for like 6 years now.
This is little dudes 3rd year in T-ball with big sis playing I had to have him play at barely 4 years old cause he wouldnt leave me alone about it. He finally has some decent coordination with the ball and such so is should be a fun season.

I finally got a call and found out my son is on the Dodgers. I had to call the guy in charge of 9/10 year olds to find out what was going on. He ended up calling the league president because the coach wouldn't call him back. The assistant coach finally called today and left a message that practice is tonight but didn't even leave a time! I am beginning to wonder about the coaches for this team.

SO what age can they start working?
He is trying to convince me that he should get this new stuff because he is not doing travel ball and I am saving money..
He is so much like his father. When my hubby played hockey he had to have the best equipment and always brought new equipment. What is it with always wanting new stuff?? Is it a guy thing with their toys??

I'm not sure, I haven't had a chance to go to one of his practices yet and meet his coach. Hopefully I will be taking him today. The practice went pretty well, but trying to remember all their names is the hardest part...lol, that and trying to keep them moving all the time so they don't get bored. I have my work cut out for me....only two of them have played Pitching Machine before! I have a feeling it's going to be a rough year. It sounds like your kids are going to break you.....you better put them to work on a paper route or something....lol
And neither has another forumite who is a coach
