Stoney's use to have the best crab cakes, but as of about a year ago, they seem to be processed, with more fillers than meat. It would be worth the drive for you to go to Jerry's in Prince Frederick.
Where are the best crabcakes in St.. Mary's or southern Calvert?
Since this tread is still receiving views, anyone have a favorite recipe they'd like to share? Thanks.
And here is The Old Bay Recipe

Well Do What, how'd it go? Other than being broke, I'll bet everyone enjoyed their meal at Jerry's Place.
OK, what is the baking powder for?
My version of an Hooper Island recipe.....
crab meat
flour
egg
cream
scallop
salt pepper spice
Combine an egg with some salt, pepper, and scallops in a blender. Add some cream, make a froth, chill it, and add it to you your crab with a DUSTING of flour. Spice as you desire. Make cakes, chill, and cook. Yum.

I have no idea where Jerry gets his crab meat, but I do know that he has no problem paying top dollar for the best crab meat he can get.Dinner was good.
The crab cakes are all crab meat with mayonnaise, no filler.
Do you know where they get their crab meat?

I know where they get it, Jerry Jr. told me.
But I don't know if I should tell everybody.
It might disappoint some people.
