Now I feel really icky
You should know better by now than to read these threads.
Now I feel really icky
We are talking about grooming standards, not bodily mutilation.
Some cultures don't use deodorant, shave legs/underarms, leave their unibrow intact, etc. and in others both men and women wax off said hair. And hot wax is a western thing- most eastern cultures use sugar/honey based depilitories that are nowhere near as painful.
and at what age do they start this? notice you said "men and women" not pre-pubescent girls.
Did you have to go there

No, she's real. Trust me :boxorox:
I KNOW I am not being considerate of culture and "hygeine" practices. I just know how I feel.
Thanks for the experiment.
It's very interesting that when a poster get their ass handed to them by the majority of posters in a thread, their next post always seems to be: "Thanks guys, I was working on a paper for school." or "I was conducting an experiment."WOW!!!! what assumptions. It was interesting to see how you take a comment on this forum and run with it. First of all, 11 is tooo young for any sort of hair plucking, let alone a brazilian. That is torture. Even if a girl at 7, 8, or 9 get thier period they barely have any hair to do anything. What the rich do with therr money is thier business. The head of CPS(not in St. Marys county) is a very good friend of mine so yeah I think I have a person on the inside that knows how I raise my kids. I just wrote that comment because I wanted to see how people would react to a comment and the assumptions I would get about my parenting skills. This was a topic(human emotions and how we make assumptions) I was discussing with my friends one, is an anthropologist and the other is a clinical psychologist. I wanted to see what reactions and assumptions I'd get especially when you don't know the person. Some are valid responses and some.....Thanks for the experiment.
yeah really Vrai. I really don't care. You have to admit this is a very good topic. With my job I get hell from everyone everyday so occasionally, its nice to throw extra gas to the fire and watch what else happens.
What the hell is the parents doing, deciding their daughters breast are to small ....
Vrai, I like the fact that you are the only one who saw that. Very perceptive.
My next one is very ambisious.
More scientific research?
Don't act like a guinea pig and you won't BE a guinea pig.
I didn't.
I just find it kind of dumb to have an "experiment" based on "I'm going to throw out something outrageously stupid and see if people think I'm stupid for saying it."
Not much of an "experiment" is it?
