I just find it kind of dumb to have an "experiment" based on "I'm going to throw out something outrageously stupid and see if people think I'm stupid for saying it."

WOW!!!! what assumptions. It was interesting to see how you take a comment on this forum and run with it. First of all, 11 is tooo young for any sort of hair plucking, let alone a brazilian. That is torture. Even if a girl at 7, 8, or 9 get thier period they barely have any hair to do anything. What the rich do with therr money is thier business.The head of CPS(not in St. Marys county) is a very good friend of mine so yeah I think I have a person on the inside that knows how I raise my kids. I just wrote that comment because I wanted to see how people would react to a comment and the assumptions I would get about my parenting skills. This was a topic(human emotions and how we make assumptions) I was discussing with my friends one, is an anthropologist and the other is a clinical psychologist. I wanted to see what reactions and assumptions I'd get especially when you don't know the person. Some are valid responses and some.....Thanks for the experiment.

yeah really Vrai. I really don't care. You have to admit this is a very good topic. With my job I get hell from everyone everyday so occasionally, its nice to throw extra gas to the fire and watch what else happens.

Assumptions? You laid it all out there as to what you were going to do. Really, you left no room for assumption. Reaction was what you got. People tend to get "annoyed" when people say dumb crap concerning kids well being. I really don't see the experiment.
