I LOVE big veggie/cheese/protein omelets with lots of garlic and different herbs... with a mound of melons, berries and grapes for a side and fresh brewed coffee... :yum:

And poached eggs with interesting companions...

That works, too. :yay: I haven't made OR had that in ages. :yum:

When I was a kid, there used to be a restaurant in Solomons that made creamed ground beef w/ tons of black pepper! I'm not sure if it was really that great or if I was just little and loved anything w/ ground beef (tacos, hamburger helper). If I ever hit my diet goal (trying, trying) I'll have to make it just to satisfy my curiosity!

Ok, now I have to go out and get some breakfast. I wasn't hungry until I read this thread. :ohwell:

Creamed ground beef over mashed potatoes with A1 steak sauce drizzled on top is a winner, not for breakfast though.

I like all the breakfast foods mentioned here, (except Spam) but admit that I don't eat breakfast that often, mostly a weekend thing. During the week I try and eat oatmeal because it's really good for you, not because I like it.

I admit it. I'm a ketchup person too. But can't do it with eggs over-easy. It has to be scrambled, an omlet, or egg sandwich.:high5:

Saturday mornings in the winter are reserved for my homemade waffles, sausage from Woodburns, eggs over easy, and real maple syrup. :yum:

Yum! Now I'm getting hungry. :yay:

No ketchup on the eggs, but I'd have to put some on the side for the sausage on that menu!
