Whatever it was...
...it was small; it only took out what looks like one apartment and the building is fine. 50 story. Looks like it hit around 35th floor or so.
Again, this has to be a HUGE mistake or intentional. It's only 1 block from the East River which is what I'd aim for if I was broke or out of gas.

They say 1 dead in the plane which fell to the street, 1 dead on the sidewalk (hit by falling debris) liekly dead in building...don't know yet.
So, 1 in plane...
