Hi all... I'm new to town and I have a golden retriever that is 1 1/2 years old. He was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur (2 months ago) and I'm going to have him checked here on Monday at Breton Vet Hospital. Any reviews for this vet?
You asked for and opinion so here it is. I've had a couple of clients use Breton and after the way they were treated I'd go somewhere else. They aren't my stories to tell, I can tell you they were all pretty unhappy.
I've used Companion Care and won't go back there either. They are very nice and have beautiful clinic, but are expensive and tried to add a bunch of stuff to our estimated bill that we didn't want done.
I've used Tidewater for many years, they can be hard to get an appointment sometimes, but they don't overcharge or add extras onto the bill. The times I used another vet it was only because I couldn't get in soon enough and I was sorry. I've always been happy with the way I was treated there. From now on I stick with them.
Three Notch is good, my kid worked there in high school, I'm sure the vets have changed since then but Drs. Maddox and Ironmonger were the favorites.
I've heard great things about All Kinds in Callaway. Lots of positive feedback from my clients.
For routine shots, heartworm and flea meds, I suggest you try the Well Pet Clinic in Lexington Park. They have kind of funny hours but are wonderful people, I adopted my last three dogs have come from them.
