So are they down here? I hear so many people talking about watching out for them. I would think that there would have to be some with all the talk about them.

I haven't heard of any one finding any  They are common to the south south/west. I think our worst spider is the black widow. But then again I'm no bug expert and try to stay away from any bug as much as possible.

My friend's dad, who was bitten by a brown recluse, lives in Dentsville. It was in his shed.

I think the brown recluse and the wolf spider that Vince mentioned look very similar. I think I've seen some of the wolf spiders, but not sure about the recluse.

Well since I'm sure I won't be getting up close and personal with any spider to try and tell the difference, I'll just stay away from them all. :lmao: Thanks for the info though.

You do realize that the average human consumes an average of four spiders per year in his or her sleep, don'tchu?

Is that even if you sleep with your mouth closed? I have a big thing about that, which is why I don't get much sleep when I'm sick...I am not a mouth breather. Even so, I don't mind eating spiders, I'm sure they taste just fine.

After pointing that out, I now wonder how many people will now be sleeping with a mask on!

Hell, before I had my nose rotor reutered, I must have swallowed all kinds of bugs in my sleep. :lmao:

:howdy: I had them all over the place at my house in Calvert. Nasty critters and DEAD if I ever saw one. Fortunately, I haven't seen any at my house here in St. Mary's, but I know they're around.
