Has anyone heard about Jeannie Green being "wrongfully" terminated from the Recorder?? What a disappointment. She is the Recorder! From what I understand they have replaced her position. They may have filled it , but no one could take Jeannie's place.

They should crap-can everyone at the Recorder. The recent crop of reporters has ruined that newspaper. There is no more actual news just their reporters spin on a particular subject. The size of the paper has become huge but it's 98% junk advertisements. I don't miss it at all.

Why???? She was better than what the Independent had a few years ago. Greg Runyan was drunk and racist. He had DWI charges everywhere.

she was fired on the spot with no warning after 20 or so yrs. by a much much younger person. from what i hear she was told she couldn't even get her own things out of the building. If you new Jeannie this would be alot easier to understand.

ok, when a person is terminated from a position held as long as this with no reason it is wrong.. It is extremely relevant of how old the person taken over the position is when theres no obviouse reason for termination other then age." Age discrimination" if you ask me!

If you new how the law worked you would see things different. It's cleary not that she was to old for the position... the point just needs to be made "people can't continue to treat people this way". I personally know that several big accounts in this county will never have dealings with this paper again.
