OK, my friend Lisa is sponsoring this at Huntts tavern (she owns it) its on April 8th and she told me and friend to just show up there at 11. :huggy: Not sure if she was just doing that for me, or if she was just doing it as a sign up and play first come first serve. But that's what she told me last night, she said "Dems, just show up at 11 and you'll be in :huggy:" Also they sell tickets for blessing of a bike or something or other there too if interested.

Any takers??? I'll cover gas fee

I'm always looking for an excuse to ride. Can you fit in a womans medium riding jacket?

I don't know... do I need a riding jacket? My own helmet and stuff? Riding shoes or something? I was thinking I'd just jump on the back  I can fit in the medium ladies jacket, just don't know that I'd be able to zip it up all the way

At a minimum you need a helmet - IT'S THE LAW. At this time of year you'll want a jacket because the sun may be warm but the wind will get you when you ride. Riding boots are best but any closed and securely fastened to your foot shoe will work.

OK, maybe I should rephrase my post now...

I'd like to borrow a motorcyle, a motorcyle driver, a helmet and whatever accessories... :ohwell: I'm guessing my odds are slim to none at this point.

Nobody gets on my bike unless they are dressed as well or better for riding then I am..

Always wear a riding jacket(abrasion resistant and armored) helmet, gloves and USUALLY boots.. and if you see pictures of my daughter, when she rides she has the same gear, though she kinda needs a better helmet, though her jacket is probably a little better then mine.

Exactly! If heaven forbid that bike were to go down, you need protection.

Most bikers I know have an extra helmet or two. Just remember to have sunglasses on if there is no visor. I'm sure you've got everything else.

I don't know, I have a leather jacket and shoes that tie (no boots) so I dont' know. I an buy boots though, I do own sunglasses. I have jeans, wasn't planning on wearing shorts and flip flops... really. Another friend may have a helmet. Maybe I wasn't meant to take a walk on the wild side or something right now.

Why do I think it would be scary to have her on the back of a bike? :jameo:
Because you know your heart would be all a-flutter finally having her arms wrapped around your waist...

Because you'd be nervous, palms sweaty and trying to drive with a woody
