I was out in the yard and they followed me around for over a half an hour talking and offering "deals". I had nothing better to do so played them for their time then walked up the back porch and went inside...

I resist being rude to people for fear they will harm me, my critters, or my property. Plus being rude causes my energy to be negative, and I really try to not let people get to me like that anymore, they just are not worth the investment of my emotions.

I do have the sign on the front door now
