You’re never really cured just in remission or not. I personally have had cancer for 17 years with it being in remission for 9 of those years.

For pancreatic, the term is No Evidence of active Disease (NED), which would be me since the surgery on 2 June 2015.

I learned on Breaking Bad that remission doesn't mean cured, it just means the tumor(s) are no longer growing.
