I'm thinking you could probably pair up that mushroom soup and some of that canned chicken and come up with something superyummy.

Am I the only person around here that doesn't like pork chops? Ick! I use to like them a lot too.... I'm getting strange in my old age.

I don't really like them either. Aside from bacon I don't even care for pork at all.

Looks like a quirky foods contest. Mushrooms and Chicken Livers sauteed in a white sauce over egg noodles with broccoli? We love the dish - an old family favorite. :yum:

I rarely eat pork chops anymore either (someone in this thread caused me to buy pork chops LOL)

.... but I fried some today, and ate one for dinner, so that'll probably hold me for a year or so since I was also able to make 3 meals to freeze. Rice, gravy, string beans, and a pork chop in each meal ......

How do you not like pork???

And I'm embarrassed to admit this, but there was a time when I'd make the kids a casserole with, yes, canned mushroom soup and canned chicken.

:shortbus::buttkick:

I don't do that anymore, though, so put away your torches and pitchforks.

Every time I think of pork, I recall the studies I saw years ago that talked about ALL pork being infected with worms, and how you HAD to be SURE to fully cook it to kill all the worms. I just felt like EWWWWW I do NOT want to knowingly eat dead worms :barf:

Opppppsssss. When I was coupled up and would make them because the man liked them I'd always cook mine fairly rare because I can't stand any meat well done.

Suddenly I am feeling a decreased desire to eat the frozen pork chop meals I made yesterday .... ewwwww

Bring the torches and pitchforks back out. I don't like meat with BONES still in it. I don't eat porkchops with bones, I like boneless chicken breast, no T-Bones for me, but a good well done delmonico is my favorite :drool: And fish? :nono: they have little tiny bones. :barf:

But you won't find any cream of mushroom soup at my house either. Mushrooms? :dead: Cream of chicken or cream of celery, maybe.

Ditto to everything you just said. :lol: I often use cream of chicken and/or cream of celery while making a crockpot meal, never cream of mushroom. And I never buy porkchops, steak or chicken on the bone. No fish in this house either.
