I wouldn't know, but if he didn't, he didn't need to be wealthy to attend. Grants, private scholarships and student loans ensure that anyone can attend, assuming they have their academics in order. Isn't he from South Korea? Maybe people over there are sponsoring him. The point is, you don't know, so stop harping on it.

Geraldo actually coined the phrase yesterday.

"Malignant explosive self pitty"

He rants about the rich and Christians? Sounds like a Max EMO to me.
and then he says he is giving his life for others, just like Jesus..

Fox News: 2005 Court Order, "Cho imminent danger to others."

It's great that people and our institutions have been able to point these characteristics out but where's the enforcement?

Stalking is.

It isn't enough to get somebody locked up for any amount of time.

It sure is easy to be a Monday morning quarterback and say, would of, should of, could of. Hindsight is always 20/20 and crystal clear.

He isn’t the only crazy person to roam around society, there are others. :ohwell:

You said in another post, he looks crazy and mean. Well, duh the media picked the most crazy and mean photo sent.

I just don't know how much could have been done that would have prevented this. Society cannot just lock up every person who behaves strangely. Also keep in mind this kid is/was from Korea, so there is a culture divide there.

I don't give a crap what the murdering little POS sent. Glad he's dead, and I hope God gives him what he deserves.
Personally i think it's irresponsible for them to be airing any of it.

Now the word is out.. kill a bunch of people and send your video to NBC, they will get your message out for you.

And in this day and age, how do we know this isn't a widespread plan, that he's the only one.. what if there are twelve more just like him waiting to act, waiting to hear the message he had in one of the videos. How can anyone be sure this wasn't an organized attack, one of many.

It's doubtful, but it is possible.

And this emo trend seems to be the new cool among white people, rockers and crap. They write songs glorifying emo and kids actually drink this kool-aid.

Teenagers try this "I have it so bad" crap, and that's exactly what it is, crap. It's not psychotic, it's self-centered.

Living in the land of the free is enough for me. :patriot: Better than living in Iraq. :patriot:

If they say one more time he was constantly playing Counterstrike and that's how he plotted this :burning:

All his roomies said they've enver seen him play video games. Where did they get this from?

There you have it folks. If you are a parent and your kid is EMO beat them until they snap the hell out of it.

Only if they play the videos backwards.

There were more than a few school shootings of the same nature after Columbine. The media is basically laying out every single step it takes to accomplish something like this. It probably didn't take Cho long to perfect this plan.

There was an ex-FBI profiler on Fox News, earlier, that said the same thing: Not a good idea to be airing these photos, as it gives other loonies out there ideas. :twitch:

Not just loonies either, anyone with a depressive state of mind. When they see something like this, "Wow, what a way to go out!."

Ok, you get a bulky package from a person that just killed 32 people... who do you think got "elected" to open it?

Do you think Brian Williams opened it??

Do you think they called the FBI or local law enforcement before they opened it?

I'm with you on that. Way to go, NBC, give the killer exactly what he wanted. Attention and validation, and this will give lots of others like him plenty of ideas. The clock is ticking towards the next event like this one.

He is the son of immigrants from South Korea. His family lives in Centreville, VA. His dad owns a dry cleaners and his brother is a State Department contractor. I believe he went to high school in Centreville as well, but I'm not sure. He's been away from South Korea a long time. I doubt he's sponsored, his family is here. But, dad probably has decent money in the dry cleaning business, I doubt his family was poor.

Thanks. Like I said, I wouldn't know. The last thing I'm doing is sitting in front of the TV watching the news.

I looked it up real quick, because I was curious. I'm wondering -- would this affect his brother any -- a State Department Contractor?
