Really, cause I'm not finding a one! :jameo: Yes, I have a non-denominational minister that is not associated with a church, he makes a living soley doing wedding ceremonies and the like. :yay:

Does the marriage have to be in a church?

I had a friend from work who was married in a hall in Waldorf. I'm not sure exactly what the name of the hall was but it was located about a block north on 301 from Route 5. The minister they had was not only a friend but another co-worker. They were also able to save money by having the reception in the same place.

There will be plenty of food, just not a super formal sit down meal. That's too stuffy and I've personally never been to one that was all that great. The best I've heard of was Nic's which was catered by Randy's Ribs because it was "real food that people enjoyed" quoted from Christy. Wouldn't you rather pigs in a blanket and the like to some crappy ass chicken that's been kept warm for so long it's rubbery?
:diva: But sweetheart, there were no pigs in a blanket at my wedding, unless you count my cousin's wife Alison, who was stuffed into an outfit two sizes too small. :killingme

No I'm just saying you had "real food" and I plan on having "real food" as well not snobby food. :lmao:

We got so many compliments on the food, and of all the vendors we hired, the caterers were the most professional and did the best job overall. :yay:

Too bad the country club in Lusby doesn't cater anymore. They did a terrific job on our reception.
