Knowing the color genes

Perhaps the message here is to know the color genetics of the horse to make sure that you don't have an issue or problem.

Good breeders breed for a good horse, but many people prefer a great color on top of that - like icing on the cake, so to speak.

The real issue is that there are too many horses being bred period. The cost of a horse today does not reflect adequately the costs of being a good quality breeder.
